Styles by Perry is a hair braiding and styling business in Duncanville, Texas, run by Perry. The salon describes its work as either a subtle refresh or a bold change in hair.

Visits can begin with a 30-minute consultation. Appointment lengths range from about two hours for takedowns to eight hours for the most involved designs, and each service lists its time and price. A basic shampoo is included with every service, and a detox shampoo is recommended for heavy dandruff, glue residue from a previous style, or heavily tangled hair.

A deposit is needed to book and is non-refundable. The remaining balance can be paid in cash or through Zelle. Arriving more than 15 minutes late adds a $30 charge to the balance, and appointments are cancelled if the client is more than 20 minutes late. Cancellations or reschedules are requested within 72 hours when possible; otherwise the deposit is forfeited and a new appointment must be booked. Extra guests and children are not allowed at appointments.

Braiding hair is provided for braiding styles. Crochet, Miracle Knots and bundle or pack hair are not included in the service price, and the only outside braiding hair accepted is GYAL brand. For kids' braids with natural hair, clients are asked to send a photo of the child's hair after booking. Questions can be directed to the Instagram handle @STYLED_BYPERRY.

Designs are matched to each style, with a reference photo requested for some full-head braids and the stylist choosing the design when none is provided.
