Studio KP

The studio is appointment only, open seven days a week, at 1516 N. 5th Street. Appointment times allow for lateness, and clients are asked to arrive five to ten minutes early. Free street parking is available nearby, and clients can reach the studio by text, which is preferred, or by email.

Eyelash extensions are the core of the studio, with a focus on natural styles. Extensions go on the upper lashes only, and a full set typically takes 90 to 120 minutes. The adhesive is a professional-grade product that sits about a millimeter from the skin rather than touching it. Fills are recommended every two weeks, and refills are generally needed every two to four weeks. Current clients who come in within seven days of a previous set can book a touch-up for $70. Full sets are listed at $195 and refills at $140.

Lash lifts curl natural lashes for up to eight weeks, and the studio suggests repeating them every six to seven weeks. A lift without tint is $105, and adding tint brings it to $125. The studio presents the lift as an option for clients who do not want to keep up with extensions. Eyebrow lamination uses a keratin-based treatment to straighten and lift brow hairs for four to six weeks. It does not include waxing or shaping, and tint can be added for $100.

Extension removal is listed at $30 to $50, depending on how many lashes remain and how difficult removal is, and takes about 30 minutes. A gel remover is placed over the extensions without touching the skin and then wiped away. NuLids Ocular Cleansing is a 10-minute add-on at $30, or $15 for first-time clients, that cleans the lash line and lid while leaving extensions intact.

The studio also teaches. The extension certification includes Level 1 Classic Lash and Level 2 1-Day Volume Lash, with $1,200 tuition that covers a product kit, a manual, live model practice and an official certification. A separate lash lift and tint course costs $600 and meets on Mondays or Tuesdays. Training deposits are $600 for extension certification and $300 for the lift course, and they are non-refundable, though they can move to a later date with at least a week's notice.

Cancellations within 24 hours cost $50, or half the booked service if it is $100 or more. Changes within two hours are charged the full service price, and no-call no-shows are charged in full. Outstanding fees must be paid before rebooking. Services are not refunded, but concerns reported within three days are fixed at no extra charge. Training can be paid by Venmo, Cash App, cash, credit card (with a 4% fee) or cashier's check, and gift cards are not accepted for training.

Studio KP centers on natural-looking extension styles, with adhesive applied so it stays off the skin. The studio says cleanliness is its top priority and that it cleans at the end of each workday.
