Studio 150 Salons

The salon is at 150 Clarkson Executive Park in Ellisville and is owned by Kate Colton, who also works there as a stylist. Its team is made up of rental stylists who each run their own book independently while offering a shared menu of services. The salon says it is trusted by more than 300 women, men, seniors and brides.

Hair services cover color, including highlights, balayage, full head highlights, all-over color, retouches and glazes, along with women's and men's cuts, razor cuts, blowouts and a Brazilian blowout. Consultations can be booked before an appointment to confirm how much time a desired result will take. Appointments are typically booked four to five weeks out, and cancellations need 24 hours' notice or a re-booking fee applies to the next visit. Clients who want to work or have quiet time can request a silent appointment. Waxing can be added to any service.

Bridal work is a large part of the menu: hair and make-up for the bride, hair and make-up for bridesmaids and bridal parties, and a bridal trial to test the look before the wedding day. Make-up is also available for photos, events and everyday occasions. Kate Colton brings salon-quality hair and make-up to a venue of the client's choosing through a travel studio. Hours are Monday 9:30 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday 11 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 10 AM to 6 PM, Friday 9:30 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 12 PM, with Sunday closed.

The stylists aim to listen to clients and help them reach the hair they want, and each works independently under a shared menu.
