Strands Salon

Jamie opened Strands Salon at 11400 Main St. in November 2016 and still owns it. The salon's decor was recently refreshed, moving from a rustic glam look to a boho chic one.

Stylists often work together on color formulas and consultations to plan each guest's look. Consultations are free. For blonding, the salon uses a consultation and photos to plan the result, and the service ranges from classic highlights to balayage. Appointments can be booked by phone or through online booking on Vagaro.

The salon uses Davines as its professional hair and color line. Blonding is done with the Davines Century of Light lightening system. Custom color draws on Davines Mask with Vibrachrom, with shades running from red through brunette to blonde, and covers new growth touch-ups, gray coverage, toners and full color changes.

Haircuts and styling include fades, pixies and long styles, chosen to suit face shape and hair color. Extensions are offered as hand-tied wefts, tape-ins and i-tip methods. Keratin and conditioning treatments include Keratherapy, Brazilian Blowout and conditioning masques. Facial waxing covers areas from the forehead to the chin, including brow shaping and brow trims.
