The surgery center spans roughly 12,000 square feet and was designed with patient comfort, safety, privacy and convenience in mind. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) has accredited it since 1990, and the accreditation is renewed every three years. Nurse anesthetists, several of whom have worked at the clinic for more than two decades, provide office-based anesthesia for plastic surgery and have delivered over 15,000 IV sedation anesthetics. The clinic employs more than twenty support staff, many with over ten years of service.

A visit usually starts with a free, confidential consultation with a plastic surgeon, which can be requested online or by calling 248-270-5272. Surgical patients meet their surgeon twice before surgery and again at post-operative visits. Costs depend on individual factors and are set after the consultation, when fees for recommended procedures are reviewed with a Patient Coordinator. The clinic asks that cost not be discussed by phone beforehand, and surgical pricing is requested through a form on the website. Cosmetic surgery is elective and not covered by health insurance. The office accepts cash, certified checks, Visa and MasterCard, and CareCredit medical financing can be applied for by phone or online.
