Dr. Marissa Baca

Dr. Marissa Baca is a plastic surgeon at Straith Clinic who concentrates on breast and body contouring. She is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds an MD. She treats patients from Birmingham and Bloomfield, Michigan, and has a working relationship with Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak. Her medical education started at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where she was invited to join the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She won the Michigan State University Trustees Award for the highest undergraduate grade point average. She then spent six years training in plastic surgery through the integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency run by Spectrum Health and MSU in Grand Rapids, followed by a one-year hand and microsurgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She returned to Michigan to practice at the Straith Clinic location in Bingham Farms.
