Hair straightening and smoothing is one of the core offerings. Permanent straightening changes the hair's inner structure from wavy or curly to straight. Smoothing treatments reduce frizz and add moisture; they relax curls rather than straightening them, so natural texture returns gradually. Named options include Keratin, Hair Botox, Nano Plastia, semi-permanent and mild Japanese straightening, and the salon also lists Korean Magic Straightening, rebonding, straight perm, ionic straightening and thermal reconditioning. Prices depend on thickness, texture and condition, and start by length.

Lux hand-tied extensions, called Feather Braid extensions, are braided into the client's own hair and tied with cotton thread rather than glued. They come in small, medium, thick and very thick volumes, with either installation or human hair purchase. Installation takes three to five hours with a specialist, and the extensions need removal and reinstallation about every eight weeks as natural roots grow. Very thick hair requires an in-person consultation first. Hair that falls out within two weeks of installation is reinstalled free, and the extensions do not need to be removed for regular washing. The salon describes hand-tied extensions as the most non-invasive and comfortable method, and says they cause no hair loss on removal.

Both locations are appointment only. Booking requires credit card information or a deposit ($150, or $300 for extensions), and cancellations or reschedules are charged within the stated windows. Consultations are complimentary. The salon also teaches small-group one-day classes: hand-tied Feather Braid extensions, Japanese hair straightening (which includes a live demonstration, hands-on practice on a live model, a training manual and a certificate of completion), and Hair Botox with Nano Plastia, with an online option.
