Curly textures, balayage, customized color, facials, waxing and lash services are among its specialties. Color work runs from root retouches and tone or gloss services to all-over color and dimensional blonding. New clients planning a major lightening change are booked with extra time for a consultation and color plan, and very large transformations may need a separate consultation first.

Appointments can be booked online or in person, and walk-ins are taken when the schedule allows. Silent appointments are available on request. The salon is ADA approved. Street parking is available right outside, with three parking lots one to two blocks away.

The salon uses Eufora professional color and Eufora treatment products. The brand says these use nearly 100 natural plant and flower extracts and essential oils, and the salon's website describes them as meeting rigorous formulation standards. The salon also favors clean, high-performance products that are vegan, plant-based, biodegradable and non-toxic. It is Green Circle Certified and sends much of its salon waste, including foils, gloves, excess color and hair, to that recycling program.
