Starlit Salon was launched in 2015 by Jill Kozar, who had worked in Philadelphia hair salons since 2001 before opening her own space in Jenkintown.

The team covers hair, skin and hair removal. Haircuts for children, men and women, blow dries and color services are offered alongside facials, waxing, lash and brow tinting, and clip-in extensions. Diane Camasso, a licensed aesthetician, leads the facial and waxing side of the menu.

The facial menu ranges from a 75-minute cleansing facial with extractions and home care instruction, and a 90-minute calming facial designed for rosacea and sensitive skin, to a two-hour Vitamin C facial and a combined microdermabrasion session. Microdermabrasion here uses aluminum oxide crystals, and an oxygen infusion version is also offered.

The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am to 4 pm, Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm, Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 4 pm. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays, though appointments are available outside the listed hours. The phone number is 215-887-8000.

Bridal services include on-location appointments and Sunday appointments, trial sessions for brides, and styling for bridal parties in styles such as blow dries, down with curls, half up, all up and up. Travel fees may apply, and custom bridal packages are priced on request.
