Spa Virtue

Spa Virtue opened in 2005 and began in a small space of roughly 1,000 square feet that offered only body wraps. Lynn founded the spa and remains its owner. It has since grown into a range of body sculpting, wrap, facial, massage, skincare, lash, sauna and weight loss services at its Hooper Avenue location.

The spa describes its mission as providing a place for rejuvenation and healing, guided by respect, loyalty, integrity and compassion. It calls itself a trusted refuge for beauty, wellness and body transformation. New guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to complete a health questionnaire. Every guest is given a robe and slippers, and the facility includes steam showers, locker rooms, infrared saunas and relaxation rooms, which are complimentary for VIP Club members. Guests preparing for body wraps are asked to wear comfortable clothing and bring an extra set of underwear, and men are asked to bring swim trunks.

Products are recommended according to each guest's needs, and team members use the products they suggest. Team members are paid under a Team Based Pay system and do not earn commission on treatments or product recommendations, so guests may see different technicians to find the best fit. Financing is available for services. Customized packages include spa days, couples experiences and glow packages, and membership, VIP Club and gift card options are offered.

The weight loss program uses injections under physician supervision and includes personalized guidance, weekly weigh-ins and support, and health and life coaching. The program includes the Bioboost B12MIC Lipo B++ product. The spa states that the injection treatments are made in FDA-approved labs and that the program is eligible for HSA and FSA funds.

Reservations require a valid credit card, though payment can be made by any method at the visit. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours' notice; late notice results in a surcharge of 100 percent of the reserved treatment price. Parties of three or more are asked to give 48 hours' notice. Spa packages, promotions and VIP Club payments are non-refundable, and all package sales are final. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and complete a parental consent form before booking. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the facility, and phones are to be silenced on arrival.
