South Tampa Salon

South Tampa Salon was established in 2022 and is owned by Emily Majot, who also works as a stylist there. The salon says it has served hundreds of clients across thousands of appointments and that it was voted 2025 Best of South Tampa. It describes itself as a Summit Certified Salon and as a Redken color salon.

The menu is built around color: full color, root touch-ups, root melt, toner, full and partial balayage, and full and partial highlights. Blowouts are a core service, from a 45-minute shampoo and blowout to a signature blowout with extra styling. Hair extensions are billed hourly and cover installation, move-ups, removals, blowouts, cuts, and colors, with an additional fee for blowouts on extended hair.

Pricing is level-based with a range of options, and each service lists a starting price. The salon says it places weight on continuing education and goal-setting for its team. The space is set up to help guests feel at ease.

Appointments can be booked online through Vagaro or by calling or texting 813-955-4329. The salon asks clients to use the booking system or phone and text rather than social media messages. Weekend hours are 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Customer parking is in the lot to the left of the strip mall when facing the storefront. Children are not permitted in the salon.

Policies include a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals, with a $20 late fee if a late client can still be served without affecting other appointments. If lateness means only part of a service can be done, the full appointment is charged. Clients are asked to give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel; shorter notice carries a $50 fee, and a no-call, no-show is charged 100% of the scheduled services. Refunds are not offered on chemical or cut services, while concerns reported within one week are addressed within reason at no additional charge.
