Sola Salons Cary is a suite building rather than a single salon. Independent beauty professionals rent their own private suites here and run their businesses from them, so each studio on the directory is a separate small business with its own name, schedule and clients.

Suites come in several sizes and are fully furnished, with oversized glass doors, high-end cabinets, shampoo bowls and styling chairs. Each suite has full-spectrum lighting, utilities, sound-insulated walls, its own key and lock, and access to on-site laundry and a breakroom. Tenants can come and go at any hour, since suite access is 24/7 (hours vary by location).

Rent is a single weekly fee that covers the suite, all utilities and Wi-Fi, with no additional charges. Tenants set their own service and product prices, choose the brands they carry, and keep the profits from both. Each Sola Salon Studios location is independently owned and operated, and the business says its wider community includes more than 20,000 independent business owners.
