Japanese hair straightening and digital perms are the services the salon is best known for. Japanese straightening uses thermal reconditioning, a technique that originated in Japan, and usually takes about 2 to 4 hours depending on hair condition, volume and length. Usually only new growth is treated, and previously straightened hair is protected with keratin and a protective cream. Color-treated or highlighted hair can be straightened if it has no current damage. Clients are asked to share any past color, perms, relaxers, chemical services, scalp conditions, irritations and allergies before the appointment. Digital perms set hot rods on a digitally controlled, temperature-regulated setting while the hair is steamed, take roughly 2.5 to 3 hours, and show the most wave when hair is dry. Clients with color-treated or highlighted hair considering a digital perm are asked to book a consultation first.

Afterward, the salon asks clients not to shampoo for 48 hours after straightening, to avoid clips, pins, rubber bands, ponytails and barrettes for at least 72 hours, and to wait at least 7 days before a color service. Pools with chlorine and salt water should be avoided for two weeks, and extended sun exposure is discouraged. A deep vitamin treatment is recommended afterward, and Milbon products are suggested for home care.

Walk-ins are welcome. Consultations under five minutes are free. Most services include shampoo, conditioning and styling. The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and closed on Sunday.

Tape-in extensions are made from 100% virgin remy human hair that is chemical-free. They are attached with adhesive tape and generally last two to three months. Extension prices include the hair, blending, shampoo and style.
