Skin Social Studio is an advanced skincare clinic in Pasadena, located in suite 1 at 130 S Euclid Ave. The studio works with medical-grade products and offers a range of facials, peels, enzyme treatments, hydrofacials, microchanneling, microdermabrasion, LED light therapy and skin analysis. It was founded by Michelle Benz, who has more than 25 years of experience as a skincare expert, according to the studio.

A visit starts with a consultation, after which the treatment is chosen to suit the skin's needs on that day. New clients book a New Client Service, a 75-minute appointment starting at $175, which is required for all first-time clients. New client bookings also carry a $100 deposit that goes toward the scheduled service and is non-refundable. After treatment, the studio can put together a longer-term skin plan that may include personalized treatments, product recommendations and guidance on Skin Cycling, a nighttime routine that alternates medical-grade products.

Among the signature options is a 90-minute Skin Social Glow Facial priced at $210. It pairs diamond-tip microdermabrasion with enzyme exfoliation, hand extractions, chilled globe treatment, LED light sessions, and a massage of the neck and shoulders. The Glass Glow Hydro-Facial comes as a 50-minute session starting at $175, or as a 90-minute Deluxe version at $275; the Deluxe uses a wet-and-dry abrasion system that contains no crystals. DMK enzyme therapy is offered as a 2-hour Signature service at $275 and as a Muscle Banding version at $299, which the salon requires be preceded by the Signature treatment.

For clients who return regularly, the studio offers six-month Glow Insider memberships in 50, 75 and 90-minute options, billed monthly. Members can cancel with 30 days written notice, and unused monthly services do not roll over unless stated otherwise. Prepaid packages named Clear (50 minutes), Dazzle (75 minutes) and Glow (90-minute series) are also available. Microchanneling is usually booked as a series of three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, and MicroGlow is offered to existing clients only.

Treatments are planned around understanding each client's skin and identifying underlying causes rather than following trends.
