Sharkey's Cuts for Kids

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is set up for children's haircuts, with services sorted for boys, girls, first-time visits, and the parents who come along. Every haircut includes a wash, cut, and blow-dry, along with a balloon, a lollipop, and video games.

Children can sit in one of several themed chairs, including a police cruiser, a Barbie Jeep, a Lightning McQueen race car, or a Mini Cooper, while they watch cartoons or Netflix.

The salon offers a custom social narrative to help children prepare for their haircut, which can ease a first visit. A Child's First Haircut Experience includes a certificate, a lock of hair to keep, and a photo of the visit.

Beyond everyday cuts, the salon offers Day of Beauty sessions where hair, nails, and makeup are done in a private Tween Lounge for up to one hour, and Up-Do Hairstyles for events such as ballet buns, wedding up-dos, and sleek ponytails for long hair.

According to the salon, it is Coral Springs' best kids' haircut salon and has completed over 10.5 million haircuts across more than 24 years. It also reports that 97% of clients recommend it, and describes its stylists as warm and experienced and its environment as clean and fun.
