Color is the center of the work, with fantasy shades such as mermaid hues, pastels and bold color combinations. Vivid color consultations are free and cover neon, mermaid, unicorn and galaxy looks, and new color clients need a consultation at least 25 hours before their appointment.
Beyond color, the menu includes haircuts, blow dries and styling, updos, gray blending, highlights, fairy and tinsel extensions, scalp treatments, red light scalp therapy and red light facial, a tea tree detox, facial waxing and buzz cuts with beard work. Packages and monthly memberships bundle several of these services together.
Booking and payment run through the Glossgenius booking site. A card is required at booking and is charged only for cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the start time, or for no-shows, at 50 percent of the scheduled service total. Some services take a deposit for new clients, and gift cards are sold in set or custom amounts and are final once purchased.
The salon works with one client at a time in a private room, and clients say the stylist takes her time and listens to what they want.
