Serendipity Hair Studio opened in 2013 and is a Davines Titanium Salon. The salon says it was recognized as Richmond's only Titanium Salon in 2024 and continued that recognition in 2025. The studio describes itself as guest-experience driven, and its artwork is sourced from Connor's Heroes, a local nonprofit supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

About

A visit is designed to feel calm and personal. Appointments can include an aromatherapy scalp massage, a hand massage and a warm steam towel ritual. Guests are matched with an artist by tier, based on education, expertise and mastery of craft, so the right level of experience is chosen for each service. The studio's services cover haircuts and color, Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatments, Naturaltech and other hair treatments, facial waxing and hot tool styling.

Each year the salon volunteers at the Connor's Heroes annual event, providing complimentary hair services to pediatric cancer patients, their families and volunteers. The studio also runs a full-time apprenticeship program in which apprentices work alongside Master Designers.

Appointments are made by phone at 804-379-3269, as online booking is not offered. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. Haircut appointments need at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, and chemical services need at least 48 hours. Hours are Monday 9 am to 6 pm, Tuesday through Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, and Friday 9 am to 5 pm, closed Saturday and Sunday. Listed prices are starting rates and an additional service charge of $25 or more may apply.
