Sugaring is the salon's main hair removal method. The paste is made of sugar, citric acid and water, with no parabens, dyes or other fillers. The business says the paste does not cling to living skin cells, so skin is gently exfoliated with little redness. Sugaring is used for delicate areas such as the bikini, brazilian and underarms, and suits first-time clients and those with about a quarter inch of hair.

For a brazilian, the salon trims pubic hair to the right length with small scissors, so clients don't need to trim beforehand. Clients may keep a full bush or choose a design, soft triangle, strip or bare look. Brazilian services can be booked during a period, and the salon advises using a tampon or menstrual cup. Male-bodied clients can book the Twig + Berries brazilian, which includes the shaft, sack and crack.

Sugaring is not done during current sunburn or a severe skin rash, for clients with lupus, or for clients who finished Accutane less than six months earlier. Clients using Retin-A, Renova, Tazarac or Differin are asked to stop at least three weeks before a sugaring appointment. Before a service, clients are advised to exfoliate one to two days ahead and, if they have been shaving, to let hair grow to at least two weeks. To help reduce ingrowns, clients are advised to exfoliate 7 to 10 days after a service and about three times a week until the next appointment. Aloe and coconut oil are suggested to hydrate and calm skin.

The East location is open Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The South location is open Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Booking is by phone at 512-956-8332, with texting preferred, or by email.
