SAND Salon is an organic concept salon in Columbia, Maryland, located inside SOLA Salon. The space is kept small so each appointment feels personal, and the salon focuses on luxe hair services made with non-toxic, organic products.

Visits are by appointment only, since walk-ins are not accepted. Saturday appointments are requested by email because they are not always available through online booking. Hours run Monday 8:30 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday 10 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday 1 PM to 8 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM to 4 PM and Friday 8:30 AM to 6 PM, and the salon is closed on Sundays.

Color is the largest part of the menu, from root melts, glosses and touch-ups to half and full highlights and specialty blonding that adds lightness or darkness while keeping dimension. Extensions are custom and hand-tied, and a free extension consultation is required before any extension service. Blow outs include the salon's signature shampoo and a customized round brush finish. Chemical-free Cezanne treatments are offered in an express version and a classic version.

Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before a service. Cancellations made within 24 hours are charged 50% of the scheduled cost. The salon may decline service for reasons such as disrespectful behavior toward staff or repeated dissatisfaction despite corrective efforts. Gift certificates can be bought in any amount with an optional personal message, and styling and hair care products are available through the online shop.
