Salon Xperience

Salon Xperience opened in 2023 on East Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. The salon describes itself as more than a salon, a space for women to build outer beauty and inner confidence. Its stated mission is to put the health and integrity of every client's hair first.

Extension clients start with a free 30-minute luxury extension consultation, which can be held virtually or in person, before any extension service is booked. New clients send a consultation request that must be approved before they can book through Square. First-time hair care clients book a New Client Bundle that includes a 15-minute consultation, a silk press, a scalp massage and a trim. Trims over 2 inches are charged as a cut with an additional fee. Pay-later options are available through approved providers. The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday 9 AM to 6 PM, Thursday 9 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 3 PM.

The salon's extension menu covers luxury sew-ins, beaded weft installs, K-tip extensions and hybrid installs that combine beaded weft with sew-in. Premium extension hair is used in installations. A Luxury Sew-In Xperience, which includes a luxury shampoo, conditioning, braid foundation, installation and styling, starts at $1,000. Microlink refreshes are recommended every 4 to 6 weeks after a Microlink install, and a Sew-In Link Refresh is typically booked 8 to 10 weeks after installation. Silk press services include the STS Smoothing Treatment, which uses the Design Essentials STS Express system and is preferred on Saturdays, and a luxury extension silk press. Color options include an ammonia-free demi color add-on, root touch-ups and color bundles for extensions.

For beauty professionals, the salon offers a 4-hour in-person Luxury Microlink Masterclass on Mondays for $3,800, with a certification given on completion. It also offers stylist training in beaded weft and K-tip plus beaded weft, including one-on-one luxury extension training and a beaded weft masterclass.
