Salon TORO was founded and is owned by Crissy Battaglia, and the salon is built around the idea that healthy hair begins with strength and confidence. The bull serves as its symbol for resilience, reliability and self-assurance, and the team aims to make every visit feel inclusive and supportive.

Haircuts, color and styling are customized to each client. Before a service begins, the stylist takes time to get to know the client and what they want. Complimentary consultations are available by appointment for all services, and pricing for color correction, balayage and ombre, specialty treatments and extensions is set after that consultation.

The menu is grouped into Color, Cut and Blow Dry, and Specialties. Color covers single-process color, highlights, ombre, balayage and color correction. Cut and Blow Dry covers adult haircuts, blow dries, children's cuts, treatments and updos. Styling, hair-up and out-of-salon services, including bridal hair, are arranged by phone.

Clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their appointment. Cancellations or reschedules need more than 24 hours' notice, and same-day changes incur a charge of 50% of the service. No-shows or no-calls are charged the full service price, and a $25 late fee applies to clients more than 15 minutes late. Stylists may ask to reschedule when there isn't enough time to do the service properly. Refunds are not issued on salon services, and any concern must be raised with management within 5 days. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of purchase, and opened products used no more than once can also be returned within that window.

Parking is available in front of the building, and a metered lot about 0.3 miles away accepts payment through the Park Mobile app.

Services are customized to each client, with time spent getting to know them before the appointment begins.
