Two friends started the business in 1989 with a shared dream and the same values, and the salon says it has now been in business for 30 years. It welcomes both new and returning clients, and says its aim is to take careful care of each person who visits.

About

The hair menu covers cuts, color, treatments and styling. Women's haircuts start at $80, men's and children's (12 and under) at $40, and blowouts at $50, with extra for long or textured hair. Color runs from glazes and root melts to single and double process, lowlights and partial or full highlights. Corrective color and hair extensions are priced after a consultation.

Facial options include a basic facial of 45 minutes to an hour that ends with a gentle massage, a Hydra-Facial using a patented device, and micro-dermabrasion, which the salon describes as a non-invasive resurfacing treatment. Waxing covers the face, arms, legs, back, underarms, bikini and Brazilian areas. Lip and chin waxes start at $10 and $12, and a full leg wax starts at $70.

Makeup application is $85 and can include lashes for an extra $10. Tanning includes a first session for new clients and packages of two, four or six sessions, each with a window for use: 30 days for the two-session glow packages, 60 days for four sessions and 90 days for six.

Hours are Wednesday 9:30am to 8pm, Thursday 9:30am to 5pm, and Friday and Saturday 9am to 5pm. The salon is closed on Mondays, and Tuesdays and Sundays are by appointment only. The salon notes that hours may vary.

The salon says it aims for attentive, high-standard care so that each client leaves feeling valued.
