Femmecode Beauty and Spa offers hair, lashes, brows, nails, skin care, waxing, spray tanning and massage under one roof in Suite B on Van Houten Avenue in Clifton. The salon is open seven days, with Sunday and Monday hours of 10 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Thursday hours of 10 AM to 8 PM, and Friday and Saturday hours of 10 AM to 5 PM. Clients can walk in or book, and the salon takes cash, with any balance due in cash. Street parking is the only parking option.

Hair services include single process color for covering gray or making a cosmetic change, glazes and toners, partial and full highlights, Bayalage, ombre, a money piece and color correction. Color consultations are offered at no charge. Haircuts, blowdries, updos, a wash with hair mask treatment and Brazilian keratin are also on the menu. Extensions are offered as tape-in and keratin bond styles, and a hair consultation is required before booking either one. The site also lists weaving consultations and sew-in weaving, and it offers gift certificates for hair, hair removal, lashes and brows, nails, massage and spa, and skin care.

Lash extensions come in natural, classic wet set, light hybrid, fluffy hybrid, volume and mega volume styles, as fills at one to four weeks or as full sets. Deep lash cleaning must be booked before a lash appointment, and bottom lashes are available. The salon does not take lash bookings from clients with little to no natural lashes. Lash extensions applied at another salon can carry extra removal charges because of foreign adhesive, and foreign fills are not guaranteed. Brow services include waxing, threading, tinting, lamination and a consultation at no charge.

The facial menu runs from a classic European facial and dermaplane facial to Hydra Dew, seaweed, Vita Cura firming, Hydra-4 Rosacea Red Out, Hydra Medic acne, Biolight and a 10 Step Four Layer facial with deep pore cleansing. Several of these use Repechage products. The Biolight facial is offered for hyperpigmentation, old scarring and sun spots. Body facials include a butterfly (vagacial) facial, a fanny facial, a pregnancy bump facial and a back cleansing facial, and these can be paired with waxing. Waxing covers lips, underarms, bikini, Brazilian, arms, legs, back, stomach and face. Spray tans are Bronze Glow, two shades darker than baseline, and Bahama Mama Glow, up to four shades darker. Hand and foot massages run from 10 to 120 minutes and include hot stones and hot towels.

The salon teaches lash and brow courses. A one-day lash class ($600) covers natural lash anatomy, classic lash extensions, business and marketing basics and an introduction to volume lashes, with a full kit, take-home manual, mannequin practice, lunch, a certificate and six months of mentoring. A two-day lash class ($1000) adds live model practice, volume training, hybrid and wet set training, and classic and volume certification. Brow courses cover brow tinting and waxing ($600) and brow lamination, tinting and waxing ($800), both with Brow Code and, for the lamination course, Elleebana products. The site says lash training is led by licensed professionals. Classes run on selected Sundays and Mondays from 10 AM to 4 PM and must be booked two weeks ahead with a non-refundable $150 deposit. Class deposits cover the kit, the certificate and the student's spot. Class dates cannot be moved, and late arrivals can join but do not get missed material.

Booking deposits are non-refundable. To reschedule, clients need to give at least 24 hours' notice, and a deposit can be moved once. Changes with less than 24 hours' notice forfeit the deposit. Arriving more than 10 minutes late counts as a no-call no-show. Clients should give a correct phone number to receive reminder texts. The salon offers WiFi, and English and Spanish are spoken. The listing marks the salon as LGBTQIA friendly and as not kid friendly, although kids nail services are offered for ages 3 to 10.
