Salon Opal began in June 2021 as a shared workspace where independent hair stylists rent their own space and work for themselves. Each stylist is their own employer, so clients book and ask questions directly with the stylist they plan to see rather than with the salon as a whole.
The space is open Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 4pm. Service prices are subject to yearly increases. Clients visiting the Greenwood area should not park at the senior center nearby; free side street parking is available in the neighborhood.
Work from the stylists is shared on Instagram under salon_opal_seattle, which is a good way to see current color and cut work before booking. Chair rental inquiries are handled separately by email.
