Stylus Salon has served Seattle since 2008 from its location on 2nd Avenue in Belltown. Robert Middleton founded the salon and still leads it, working alongside a team of stylists. The salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 7 pm, and it is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

About

Haircuts start at $80 and include a deep cleanse, blow-dry and style, and waves, curls or straightening with the hot tool can be added for $40 or more. Color prices start at $115 for single process and $200 for double process and balayage, with partial foils from $180, full foils at $190 and face framing foils at $100. Blowouts start at $80, and updos start at $190 and are offered for weddings and special events.

The stylizing menu includes relaxers, with a first-time service at $225 and touch-ups at $175. Brazilian Blowouts start at $300 and are formaldehyde free; the salon says the smoothing can last up to four months. Keratin treatments start at $300 and are used to smooth and straighten hair. Extensions are quoted after a consultation.

Clients receive a text when booking, an email two days before, and texts the day before and the day of the appointment. Cancellations need 24 hours notice, and later cancellations are charged half the service total. No-shows and late cancellations are charged the full service total. Fees are waived for cancellations due to illness, and clients must wait seven days before rebooking. Clients with flu, cold or COVID-like symptoms are asked to reschedule.
