Salon Industry was founded in 2017 by Holly DelGaudio and sits on South Main Street in Pittsford village, between Church Street and Locust Street. The team is small, and the stylists focus on their craft and on the wellbeing of their clients. Many clients have been coming for years, and some have become friends with the stylists.

The menu is split into cut and color. Color work includes single process retouches, crown, partial and full highlights with finish, and Colorganics, a gentle, ammonia-free botanical color. Balayage and hair painting, along with color correction, are offered with a consultation for each. Cuts cover men's, women's and youth styles, a bang trim, a botanical scalp treatment, and shampoo with finish, including an iron finish.

Booking is by phone with Holly at 585 880 8736, or by email at holly@salonindustry.co. Monday is by appointment only, Tuesday through Thursday runs 9am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice. Prices may vary with the time a service takes and the amount of formula used, and color prices do not include the haircut. A $20 charge applies to flat-ironing, or to finishing long, thick or curly hair. Youth cuts are priced for clients under 13.

Stylists focus on their craft and on the happiness and health of their clients. Product lines are chosen for healthy hair and skin and with respect for the environment.
