Spa reservations are confirmed 72 hours ahead and need a credit card or gift card to hold the booking. New spa clients should arrive 15 minutes early to complete a form and a consultation. Changes to spa reservations need 24 hours notice, or 48 hours for spa packages and couple or group bookings. Walk-ins are rarely available, so calling ahead is the way to book. The salon also trains its own stylists. A Virginia Registered Apprenticeship for aspiring cosmetologists totals 3,000 hours of hands-on work in the salon. Its Associate Program pays trainees while they learn, pairs them with one-on-one mentorship, provides weekly coaching and follows a set graduation timeline.
