Salon Botanique Eco Chic

Salon Botanique opened its doors in Morristown in November 2006. The salon describes itself as an eco-friendly, natural and organic hair salon, and says it was the first all natural and organic salon in New Jersey.

The salon aims to offer gentler alternatives to conventional harsh salon and spa products, with the goal of a safe and healthy experience for both clients and staff. For color services it uses natural and organic ingredients, which the salon says also helps limit waste.

Hair services are priced on a level system that reflects each stylist's experience and education, and all service prices are starting-at rates. The first consultation is free. Payment is accepted by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and cash, and there is an ATM on site. Gratuities cannot be added to credit card payments. Hours are Tuesday 9AM to 9:30PM, Wednesday 9AM to 7:30PM, Thursday 9AM to 9:30PM, Friday 9AM to 5PM and Saturday 8AM to 5PM, with Sunday and Monday closed. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged 50% of the scheduled service. If a client is unhappy with a service, a free redo is offered within two weeks. No refunds are given for hair services.

Amplify is a professional-only extension line offered at the salon. It comes in three lengths and twenty chemical-free colors, and is made from 100% cuticle-intact Remy human hair. Options include Nano Panel tape extensions and Nano Weft extensions that can be sewn in. The salon describes the Nano Panel as the lightest, thinnest and most comfortable panel on the market. A free consultation is offered to determine extension needs and pricing. The salon also sells Kevin Murphy products through an online store.
