Salon Blume began with four stylists who had worked together before opening the salon. The salon describes its experience as luxurious, and its team draws on a mix of Long Island and Lake Norman backgrounds.

Color is the core of the menu. Services range from gloss and toner and root retouches to full and partial highlights, balayage and bleach-and-tone work from roots to ends. The salon is an exclusive Eufora color house, and guests can buy Eufora products through an online ordering link on the about page. Cuts run from quick bang trims and dry cuts to longer appointments for women, teens, children and men, and blow-outs can be finished with iron work or a special occasion style. Extension maintenance covers removal and reinstallation, with options for one or two rows of hand-tied extensions.

Smoothing services include the Brazilian Blow Out, a customizable long-term treatment that lasts up to 12 weeks and can be washed the same day, and the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment, which reduces curl by up to three levels and lasts about three to four months. Keratin clients need to keep their hair dry for 72 hours afterward. New clients booking a Brazilian Blow Out or keratin treatment pay a $150 deposit.

Before booking, guests can request a free 15-minute consultation to ask questions. The salon is open Wednesday from 9 AM to 6 PM, Thursday from 9 AM to 8 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and is closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. A cancellation fee of 25% of the service price applies to no-shows and to cancellations within 24 hours.
