Salon Blue

Salon Blue is a shared space for hair stylists and massage therapists who run their own individual practices. Each professional works under their own name, and clients book through the salon's Vagaro page or contact the professional directly. Stylist hours run Monday through Friday with Saturday by appointment, and massage hours run Monday through Saturday.

Haircuts are priced by hair length and include a blowout for medium, long and extra long hair. A short-hair cut is done entirely with scissors and starts at $50, and clipper cuts start at $42. Blowouts start at $47 with a shampoo. Color options include standard, halo, express, short-hair and close-and-tight foil services, plus balayage from $240, which new clients are advised to book after a complimentary consultation. Gloss add-ons start at $52, and retouches start at $68 for up to an inch of regrowth. A complimentary 15-minute bang trim and a complimentary 30-minute consultation are included.

Massage sessions take place in a private, soundproofed room measuring 12 by 11 feet, with its own thermostat. Sessions run 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, at $90, $125, $160 and $230. Skincare is offered through Beam Beauty Co., with a detoxifying pore or enzymatic treatment at $140, a PCA oxygenating facial at $125 and a custom PCA corrective peel at $160, where peel strength is set at consultation. Waxing by Samina Jangda covers brows, lip and chin for $15 each, and full face for $45.

Services are tailored to each client and can be combined into bundles. Quoted prices are starting points that depend on the stylist's experience and any extra needs. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged half the total scheduled service. Parking is available in the lot behind the building off Carlton and in the lot across the street at 1324 Lake Drive.

Each professional runs an individual practice within a shared space, and services are personalized to the client and can be bundled.
