Salon Above by Liza is a private hair salon suite run by its owner, Liza Kaleel, who works as a blonde specialist. Each appointment is one-on-one in a private suite rather than a shared floor. Besides color, the salon offers hair cutting and styling, including custom cuts.

Color services are grouped around custom blonde work. Options range from root touch-ups and all-over single shades to partial highlights around the face and crown, dimensional blends of bright and shadowed tones, and ultra-fine baby-light highlights. Bleach and toner services are also offered. The salon uses a signature Duoluxe highlighting technique. Blonde highlights, balayage, corrective color and grey coverage are the most requested services. Prices are listed as starting amounts, and the final cost depends on the service.

Before booking, note that a $25 consultation fee applies to consultations held Tuesday through Thursday and is charged when booking. A credit card is required to hold an appointment for any service. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice; a late cancellation is charged 50% of the scheduled service and a same-day cancellation is charged 100%. Clients are asked to arrive with clean hair for color services. Prices and availability may change without notice.

If a client is unhappy, they can contact the salon within 3 days to arrange a complimentary re-do. Refunds are not offered on hair services. Gift certificates are available. The salon states it has over 290 five-star reviews. The salon is open Tuesday to Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM, and is closed Monday, Friday and Sunday.
