Golf is a major focus. The 27-hole course can be combined into 18-hole rounds, and a 13-acre driving range sits near the lobby. A 16-acre Golf Training Center supports Saddlebrook Golf Academy, which offers personalized coaching with a golf professional, and Saddlebrook Preparatory School, which pairs golf training with college preparatory education for junior athletes. Lessons range from Play with a Pro sessions and private coaching to New Player Coaching, a two-day program. The course redesign was led by Rees Jones and Bryce Swanson.

Tennis and pickleball are the other main draw. The resort has 41 tennis courts, including all four Grand Slam surfaces, and eight dedicated pickleball courts. Its programs follow the training philosophy of Harry Hopman, which emphasizes fitness and discipline. The resort acquired the Tampa Tennis Academy in 1986, and the headquarters of the Professional Tennis Registry and Professional Pickleball Registry relocated to the resort.

The spa is about 7,000 square feet with 12 treatment rooms, separate men's and women's dressing areas, and a courtyard terrace for lounging and light dining. It describes its approach as inspired by European wellness traditions. Treatments include massages, facials and full-service salon services.

Dining includes RARE 1981, the signature restaurant serving Gulf Coast-style dishes with regionally sourced meats and seafood; GOAT Kitchen & Bar, a tavern-style room with communal seating and pub classics; Palmhaus, an open-air poolside bar and dining spot; and BREW, a lobby café. The resort also hosts weddings, meetings, team building and group offers in newly redesigned ballrooms and flexible venues.

Built around the Hopman training philosophy of fitness and discipline for tennis, with spa treatments inspired by European wellness traditions.
