Ryan Foley Hair is based in Salon Xia, on the ground floor of The Andalucia apartment building, in a pedestrian passage running between Colorado Blvd and Union St. The salon calls itself award-winning.

When booking, haircut clients are asked to bring photo inspiration, and color clients send photos of their current hair and inspiration pictures by text or Instagram. Curl and color services need clean, dry, detangled hair. Free garage parking is under the salon, entered from Union St just before El Molino Ave, and visitors are advised to allow extra time for traffic and parking. Robes and a range of beverages are offered.

Services are grouped into haircuts, hair color and treatments. Cuts range from a bang trim to long haircuts with wash and style. Color covers everything from gloss or toner and root retouch to highlights, balayage, bleach and tone, and full foilayage for color transformations. Olaplex is included in many color services, and a free 30-minute color consultation is offered. Ryan describes the chair as a space for LGBTQ clients.

Color is planned around the client's current hair and reference photos, with a free consultation available first and Olaplex built into many services.
