Rue Saint Aesthetics is a studio at 700 Phosphor Avenue in Metairie, which describes itself as a luxury aesthetics studio. It was started on the idea that caring for your skin is a way of respecting yourself. Alyshia Cheavious founded the studio and works there as a licensed aesthetician with more than ten years in the field.

Facials start with a $25 consultation. The custom facial is shaped to a client's skin needs at the time of the appointment, and basic custom facials are listed from $100. Other options include dermaplaning, which removes fine vellus hair and dead skin from the surface, microdermabrasion aimed at smoother texture and the look of hyperpigmentation, and an oxygen treatment offered for acne, uneven texture, hyperpigmentation and aging skin.

Three chemical peels are offered: a lactic peel for brightening and smoothing, an alpha beta peel formulated for acne and congestion, and a mandelic peel with vitamin A accelerator, which the studio considers its deepest peel. New peel clients need at least one facial on file before a peel can be booked.

Body treatments include the vagacial services and back facials, and every back facial includes microdermabrasion. Waxing covers the face, the body and the bikini area, with single small areas listed from $10 and a complete full body wax listed at $500. Brow wax, tint and lamination can be added to any facial or booked on their own.

Appointments are booked online through a Square booking page. The studio is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM to 2PM, Wednesday and Friday from 9AM to 6PM, and Saturday from 8AM to 2PM, and is closed on Sunday and Monday.
