ROLFS Salon was started by stylist Rolf Lohse. The ROLFS brand has been part of the US professional beauty industry for several decades and is headquartered in Scottsdale. Its parent organization, ROLFS Global, describes itself as an international beauty and education company, and the LEAD ROLFS Global Institute offers a higher education pathway in the professional beauty industry, powered by L'Oreal.

Every appointment starts with a consultation about the client's lifestyle, preferences and goals. The salon offers a personal scalp analysis using imaging technology, and a Magic Mirror that uses augmented reality to preview a transformed look before the service begins. The salon describes its stylists as internationally trained and college and university educated.

The blow dry service begins with a consultation, then a shampoo, and takes about 45 minutes. Starting at $95, it is built around the ROLFS Blowout, which uses a French technique focused on airflow control, tension and directional shaping. Color work includes all-over color, toning, soft highlights, dimensional color and corrective color, with shades layered for soft transitions and tones formulated to fade gradually.

For weddings in Scottsdale and at destinations, the salon offers bridal updos and bridal hair styling, and it also handles special occasion styling and hair extensions. Bridal hair consultations can be reserved through the salon's bridal page.

Hours on the booking platform are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. The salon is closed on Sunday and Monday. Clients who miss an appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice are charged 50% of the service total. The salon describes itself as the first Salon of the Future of its kind in the world, and describes its color bar as the largest digital art of color bar. Styling follows a European-based method built on internal structure and controlled movement, and color is placed to suit each client's structure.

The space has an indoor garden, custom flooring made of paper and recycled woods from around the world, and custom glass embedded with real flowers.
