Rocol Beauty Studio

Rocol Beauty Studio is an intimate salon suite in Charlotte where the stylist works with one client at a time. The salon describes itself as the premier curly hair salon in the city. Every visit starts with a one-on-one consultation about what the guest wants, what their hair needs and what they are aiming for, and cuts and trims are done with the same personalized technique.

New guests fill out an appointment request form covering hair history and goals before booking, and only a few new guests can be accepted each month. The Signature Curl Experience for new guests includes a cleansing ritual with Innersense Organic Beauty products, a precision curly haircut with curl shaping, personalized styling guidance and a clarifying detox. Return guests can book a curly haircut with a hair bath, conditioning, a curly style and set, and a detox. Treatments such as the Spa Mist Treatment can be booked between cuts.

Bookings are made only through the online system, and the salon does not take walk-ins. A $100 deposit is collected when you book and goes toward the final bill. Accepted payment includes Zelle, Venmo, Square, Apple Pay and cash, plus credit cards from Visa, Discover, American Express and Mastercard; card payments carry a 3% processing charge. Clients under 11 are not served. Hair should arrive dry and in its natural state, already washed, conditioned and detangled, and not pinned, twisted out or braided beforehand. An updo such as a bun or ponytail takes longer and costs more.
