Color is a large part of the menu. Services include glaze and toner, basebreaker, highlights, balayage, foilyage, all-over color, root touch-ups, lightener retouches and color correction, and color work is priced as customized color. Listed prices are starting points, and exact pricing for custom color, bleach and tones, corrective color, creative color, keratin treatments and extensions may vary. Clients with long or thick hair should expect higher final prices.

Consultations are complimentary and can be booked online or by calling the front desk. New clients who want a custom color service are asked to contact the salon directly. Appointments are reserved with a credit or debit card. Changes or cancellations need at least 48 hours notice, and late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full booked service cost. Services and purchases are final and non-refundable. The salon does not guarantee the result of color or chemical services unless clients buy its home care shampoo and conditioner, and no refund or re-do is offered for those services. The studio is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 AM to 8 PM, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and closed Sunday and Monday. Accepted payments are cash, cards, Zelle and Venmo.

Lucid Academy is the salon's education program, offering hands-on training in hair design and business to associate, part-time and full-time stylists. Applicants need a North Carolina cosmetology license, a strong work ethic, good time management and a friendly attitude. A model program offers discounted services to models. Gift cards can be bought in any amount and used for any treatment in the studio. The team speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian and Spanish.

The salon works to blend hair artistry with ongoing education for its stylists, and it builds each look around the client rather than a standard service.

The interior is modern and warm, with soft lighting, natural textures, a lounge, inviting chairs and a coffee option.
