Revolver: A Salon

Revolver sits at 1489 Steele St, Unit C, on the southwest corner of Colfax and Steele. The salon describes itself as Denver's best hair salon. The room is styled in a 1960s mod look, with curated music playing throughout, beverages available, and an outdoor patio lounge. Guests can park in the small garage in the building, with an entrance on Steele St, at no charge, and the salon offers online and mobile booking as well as onsite laundry.

The menu covers a full range of hair services: haircuts, all-over color, highlights, balayage, fashion shades, corrective color, extensions and blowouts. Listed prices are base prices and can shift with the time a service needs, its complexity, and the length and density of the hair. Color prices are starting points and also depend on time and complexity. Fashion shades and corrective color require a consultation first.

Policies are worth reading before booking. Cancellations need at least 48 to 72 hours' notice. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice carries a fee of 50 to 70 percent of the total service cost, and changes made less than 12 hours before an appointment have to go through a phone call to the salon or stylist. Services already performed are not refunded. The salon guarantees its work and will make adjustments at no added cost when a result is not what was expected. Fashion shades and corrective color fall outside that guarantee, and any further adjustments on those services are charged at the standard rate.

Revolver is also hiring experienced commission stylists, including booth renters.
