Reverie Beauty Co is run by its owner, Erika, who works on lash extensions and brows in Long Beach. The name refers to a collective made up of the owner, her clients and the lash artists she trains. The business describes its stated vision as enhancing natural beauty and building confidence.

Appointments are by appointment only and can be booked online at any time. A credit card is required to reserve each appointment and is kept on file. New clients are asked to arrive about 5 minutes early to complete paperwork and list any allergies or medications that may affect a service. Lash appointments run 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the service, brow services range from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours, and a lash lift takes a little over an hour. Clients are asked to remove eye makeup before arriving, and the artist will remove it on arrival if needed without extending the appointment. The lash bed has blankets and a bolster under the knees, and clients are encouraged to bring headphones for music, podcasts or audiobooks. Eyes are rinsed with a sensitive saline solution at the end of the application.

Lash extensions are made from 100% polyester fiber designed to resemble silk or mink; real mink is not used. Each set is customized to eye shape, lash growth direction, facial structure and lifestyle, and the amount of adhesive and the extension thickness are adjusted to each client's natural lashes. A full set takes about 3 hours and covers all natural lashes. Between full sets, fills are recommended within 3 to 5 weeks. Clients who go longer than 5 weeks between fills must book a return full set. The business notes that clients' extensions last about 4 weeks on average, according to the owner.

Brow services include waxing, tinting and lamination. Brow lamination relaxes and straightens the brow hairs in place to change their direction and fullness. Brow tint is a gel that colors the hairs and stains the skin, and it typically lasts a few days on the skin and a few weeks on the hairs, varying between clients. Lash lifts add length but not volume, with results that typically last 6 to 8 weeks. A tint is included with the lash lift at no extra cost and can be left out on request.

The studio also offers Beyond Classic, a holistic lash artist training program, and Beyond Editing, an online class on editing photos with a phone and a free app for social media. Beyond Editing can be taken on its own or as day 3 of Beyond Classic training. Information shared during a visit is kept confidential.
