Surgery is done under general anesthesia, and the facility is closed to other patients on surgery days. The practice says the center is more affordable and private than hospital surgery. Out-of-town patients receive a welcome packet explaining how long to stay nearby after surgery and are advised to book a hotel within walking distance of the facility.
