Regina Dylan Studio is a locally owned salon on Mercer Island. Its lash work is led by Regina Dylan, who began working in eyelash extensions while still in school, and Megan Ohashi, who joined the studio as an intern in June 2015 and was trained in lash work there. The salon describes itself as offering some of the best eyelash extensions on the east side and in the greater Seattle area.

About

Eyelash extensions are offered in classic and volume styles, as full sets and as fills. Fills are priced by length of visit, and separate rates apply to new clients who had lashes done elsewhere and to clients returning more than four weeks after their last fill. Volume sets use very fine extensions to build a fan of up to 15 per natural lash. Lash lifts include a Korean lash lift and tint, which is repeated every six to eight weeks, and a lash tint that lasts two to four weeks. Brow services include tinting, waxing (which begins with a face analysis to define the shape), a combined wax and tint, and brow lamination and tint, which lasts six to eight weeks. Waxing covers the chin, lip, chin and lip, underarms and full face.

Before a lash appointment, clients are asked to arrive without makeup, to avoid mascara for a few days beforehand, and to skip caffeine and curling their lashes. Afterward, the salon advises avoiding heat, steam, saunas, oil-based products and waterproof mascara, and not rubbing or pulling at lashes. Korean lash lift clients keep lashes dry for four hours and avoid hot steam and saunas for two to three days. For waxing, the salon recommends waxing every three to six weeks, not trimming or shaving beforehand, waiting at least 24 hours before working out, and not waxing when sunburned or while taking acne medication or Retin-A. Underarm clients are asked to wear an undergarment that is easy to work around.

The salon also sells candles and offers a free 30-minute private shopping session by appointment for choosing candles, which can include one additional guest (no children under 15). Custom candle orders for events can be placed during these sessions. Eyelash extension removal is available for $30, with classic removal taking 20 to 30 minutes and volume removal taking 30 to 45 minutes.
