The space was remodeled over almost two years, replacing an open floor with private treatment rooms: five in total, including one double room for two people. Guests who want to share the double room book as two people, and separate rooms need separate bookings.

Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, with the spa closed on Mondays. Head spa services run Tuesday through Sunday. The spa is a short walk from the light rail station and is reachable from Seattle and Bellevue. Free parking is in a covered garage behind the spa, with two spaces reserved for clients, and street parking is available nearby.

A visit starts in a private room where clients change into provided spa tops and relax before the service. Clients are asked to arrive at least five minutes early and to skip hair products, caffeine and heavy meals on the day of treatment. Cell phones are not allowed in the treatment room, and recording a treatment needs advance notice to the therapist. At the start of a service, clients pick a light, medium or strong massage and can ask for pressure to be changed during it.

The head spa menu ranges from a 30-minute Express Head Spa at $79 to Milbon Gold Luxury Head Spa sessions of 60 or 90 minutes at $195 to $245, which open with aromatherapy and a sound bath. Signature Milbon Head Spa ($135 or $185) includes a scalp analysis, massage, treatment and blow-dry. Davines Vegan Head Spa is $135 or $185, and Buzz, Bald and Short Head Spa is $125 or $175 for short or shaved hair. Kids' Spa Day is for children 13 and under with a parent or guardian present, at $95 or $120. Combination options pair a head spa with a blowout or a facial, and a Japanese Head Spa is also offered.

Beyond head spa work, the spa offers Epicutis facials, from a 30-minute Mini Epicutis Facial at $120 to a 60-minute Signature Epicutis Facial at $200, plus a Custom Facial at $150 that is tailored after a skin analysis. Brow and lash services include glue-less brow lamination, lash tinting and a Korean glue-less lash lift. Waxing uses Cirepil wax from France. Blowouts start at $45 and are priced by hair length, texture, volume and style.

Appointments can be booked online through the Book Now menu, by phone at (425) 610-6368, or by email at Hello@MercerHeadSpa.com. Rescheduling needs at least 12 hours notice. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may shorten or reschedule the service, and a no-show is charged the full price. Memberships are billed in full at purchase and can be canceled within seven days; unused benefits must be used before the term ends and do not roll over. Gift certificates can be bought online and sent by mail or email.

Treatments focus on the scalp and hair, with the aim of supporting relaxation, tension relief, and scalp and hair health. The head spa services are described as suitable for most hair types, including bald or very short hair.
