Eye care covers comprehensive, pediatric, new patient and established patient exams, contact lens exams and fittings including specialty and scleral lenses, myopia management and Ortho-K, and LASIK evaluations. Medical visits address issues such as red eye and infection, and the practice cares for dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, seasonal allergies, computer vision syndrome and common eye disorders. Diabetic-related eye exams are offered too. Eye emergencies such as trauma, cuts, scratches, foreign objects, burns and chemical exposure are handled, and these should be reported by calling the office. The med spa side offers IPL skin rejuvenation by Lumenis for concerns such as sun damage, rosacea, hyperpigmentation and fine lines. IPL Optilight is used for dry eye. Other services include chemical peels with different solutions for different skin concerns, dermaplaning, microneedling, facials and laser hair removal. The facial uses a handheld device for exfoliation, suction extraction and serums in a multistep process, suits all skin types and needs no downtime. Laser hair removal is offered for legs, bikini line, underarms and facial areas, and results are described as lasting months to years rather than being permanent. Medical grade skin care products are also sold.
The optical shop carries eyeglass frames in a range of materials, colors and shapes, plus sunglasses and prescription and non-prescription eyewear. Glasses selection requires a valid prescription, and dispensing includes fittings and adjustments with an optician. The practice has a full range of optical equipment on site and an online eyewear shop.
The office accepts insurance and is in network with VSP and EyeMed. Patients can use the patient portal, complete forms and pay bills online. Online booking requires a card on file, which is held and charged only if the appointment is missed, and patients may choose to be private pay when booking. Online bookings allow no more than two family members on the same day. Hours are Monday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Tuesday 10:00am to 7:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday 10:00am to 1:30pm and 2:30pm to 7:00pm, and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, and the office is closed Saturday and Sunday.
