Raven Row Salon has operated in Austin since 2016 from a suite on Triangle Avenue. Its menu covers cutting, color, styling and a permanent wave service, and services are not gendered: pricing depends on stylist time and the products used.

The salon has been a Certified Sustainable Salon since 2016 and, through Green Circle Salons, describes itself as climate neutral and climate positive. It says it reduces, recovers and repurposes 95% of its salon waste, and sends all of its hair clippings to Break it Down, a local Austin composting and recycling company, to be made into hair compost. It works with small-batch hair care brands chosen for their eco-friendly approach, and a $4 surcharge on each service supports its green initiatives.

The salon participates in The Dresscode Project and Strands for Trans, and states that it is a safer space for the LGBTQ2S+ community.

Booking is online or by text. New clients are asked to complete a consultation form when booking, which can include photos. A credit card on file secures appointments and is charged only for a violated cancellation policy or a client arriving more than 15 minutes late. Haircuts need 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule and color needs 48 hours. Adjustments requested within 7 days of a service are free and go to the original stylist. A waitlist is kept for earlier openings. Curl cut clients are asked to arrive with freshly washed, detangled hair worn down. Permanent waves can only be booked after a consultation with the permanent wave specialist.
