Radically Curly

Radically Curly was founded in 2014 by Danielle Green. The salon's view is that naturally curly hair is beautiful in every shape, texture and curl pattern, and it describes itself as a safe space for curly hair of all ages, backgrounds and lifestyles. The salon describes its experience as world-class and says clients have travelled to it from across the country.

Services cover curly cutting, curly color, natural curly styling, blowouts, bridal hairstyling, braiding and restorative treatments. Braids include knotless, feed-in and twist styles, with pricing that depends on the style, size, length and complexity. Braiding hair is not included in the braid price.

A visit starts with booking, since walk-ins are not accepted. Appointments can be made online, by text or email, or through the contact form, and a deposit is required for every appointment. Hair should arrive clean, detangled and air-dried. Matted hair appointments are cancelled unless the client is requesting a big chop. Cut pricing depends on the service rather than age or gender, and the final price is discussed at the consultation. Children are welcome if they can sit still and behave respectfully. After services, stylists give personalized product recommendations.

Every curly color service begins with a free 15-minute consultation. Color appointments are set for a future date and need a deposit, and a strand test may be recommended based on hair history.

The policies ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. A no-show or late cancellation forfeits the deposit. Deposits can be applied once toward a future appointment, but credits are not refunds and only cover one rescheduled visit. The salon is open Tuesday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM.
