R Salon opened in Phoenix in 2009. Over three expansions it grew from 1,500 to 6,000 square feet, and its team grew from four people to more than fifty.

The salon operates as an all-rental space for independent stylists, aestheticians and massage therapists. Each professional rents their own space and sets their own pricing and schedule. The salon describes itself as a full-service salon offering hair, skin, nails and massage.

Stylists take walk-ins based on availability. Clients who already have a stylist can contact that stylist directly to book, and new clients can call the front desk to be matched with one. The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm and is closed Sundays. The phone number is 602.216.1616.
