Medical dermatology covers more than 25 skin, hair and nail conditions, from common concerns to long-term management. These include acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hidradenitis suppurativa, vitiligo, alopecia areata, hair loss in men and women, and infectious skin disease. Pediatric care covers atopic dermatitis, molluscum, warts, teen acne and birthmarks.

Skin cancer care is a major part of the practice. Full-body skin checks cover the head to toe, including the scalp and between the toes, and include a medical history, dermoscopy when needed, and a discussion of next steps. Suspicious spots can be biopsied in the office on the same day, with results usually back within about a week. Mohs micrographic surgery removes skin cancer one tissue layer at a time under local anesthesia, with each layer examined under a microscope and 100 percent of tumor margins checked on-site. The practice states that Mohs cure rates for nonmelanoma skin cancers are typically above 95 percent, and it recommends Mohs over image-guided superficial radiation therapy.

Cosmetic consultations are one-on-one and complimentary. They cover skin type, concerns, goals, preferred downtime, a treatment plan and pricing. Plans may pair a daily skin care routine with Botox and neuromodulators, dermal fillers, chemical peels and laser treatments. Injectables and laser procedures are performed by board-certified dermatologists, and the practice describes its cosmetic results as natural-looking.

The practice accepts most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare and Medicare, along with many Medicare Advantage plans. Patients with plans not on the list are asked to call about out-of-network benefits or self-pay pricing. Patients on NJ Medicaid plans are not accepted. Financing is available through CareCredit. Appointments can be booked online or by phone, and same-week visits are often available for new patients and urgent concerns. Free on-site parking is offered.
