Parth Patel

Parth Patel founded PS Dermatology and Surgery, where he works as a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. He is double board-certified and fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery, and his listed credentials are MD, FAAD and FACMS. He earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, and finished his dermatology residency as chief resident. A fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology followed at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

His practice covers medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, with a concentration on Mohs surgery for skin cancer and facial reconstruction. Filler injections are a significant part of his experience. He has completed more than 4,000 Mohs cases, and patients come to him from far away, some from other states. He also holds a staff position at the University of Pennsylvania's Princeton Medical Center.

He has authored or co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed articles, including a 2021 review of patient education in Mohs surgery. He has lectured at the annual American Academy of Dermatology Conference and at international symposiums. Teaching residents is something he enjoys. His memberships include the AAD, ACMS and ASDS.
