The studio describes sugaring as an old hair removal practice, dating back to 1900 BC. The paste is made from sugar, lemon and water and removes hair in the direction of growth. The studio says sugaring is gentler on the body and kinder to the environment than waxing, and that repeated sessions can lead to a lasting reduction in hair growth, which it calls refinement. The paste comes from a local company and is organic and fair trade.

Services cover body hair from neck and underarms to full legs and full back, brows and face, and intimate areas including basic and extended bikini and Brazilian options. Before an appointment, clients are asked to stop shaving about 10 days ahead, skip exfoliating the day before and for 24 hours after, and avoid lotions and oils. Hair should be at least 1/8 inch long, though removal can begin at 1/16 inch. Clients on Accutane must have fully stopped it for six months, and clients on Retin-A should stop it 10 or more days ahead, with a patch test possibly needed. Arrivals up to 15 minutes late may be accommodated if time allows, and cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead are charged 50 percent of the appointment price.

Training is a core part of the business. A one-day intensive for beginners costs $699 and is limited to one or two students, covering legs, arms, underarms, brows, face and bikini. An intimate sugaring add-on class for certified students costs $399, with $50 off for alumni. Private mentorship and consultation packages start at $79, and ongoing video and technique reviews are offered with discounts for former students. Tailored, advanced, on-site and group classes are also available.

The studio says its team is trained in an empathic sugaring method and tailors hair removal to each client's needs.
