Pretty Eyes

Pretty Eyes is a lash extension studio in suite 325 on Richmond Avenue in Houston. Full sets come in four styles: Classic, which places one extension on each natural lash for a natural look; Hybrid, which mixes Classic and Volume for a natural look with some added fullness; Volume, which uses hand-made fans for a fuller look; and Mega Volume, which uses dense volume fans for a darker, more dramatic effect. A Lash Bath can be added to a Mega Volume set.

Refills are priced by how much work is needed. A Weekly Refill is the lightest option, and Standard and Extended Refills suit clients whose lashes are still mostly full or who have more shedding or gaps. A refill needs about 40% of the extensions still in place; otherwise a full set is required. Mega Volume sets and longer extensions are suggested to be refilled every two to two and a half weeks, and refills are timed by lashes remaining rather than by the calendar. Bottom lashes and lash removal are also offered as separate services. The business states that properly applied extensions, synthetic or mink, do not damage natural lashes.

Clients get aftercare guidance with their lashes: wait 24 hours before getting them wet, and avoid swimming, working out, saunas, facial steamers and makeup for the same period. Appointments can be cancelled or moved free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Later changes incur a 50% fee unless the owner decides otherwise. Same-day appointments can be requested by texting the desired day and time to the studio's phone line.

Pretty Eyes also teaches One on One Classic Lash Training, a three-day course of 24 hours priced at $1,350 including a $250 kit. The course covers sanitation, natural lash health, product breakdown, client preparation, application and removal, aftercare and business basics. Days two and three include live clients with in-person shadowing. The kit includes a manual lash kit, a mannequin head and a list of premium supply vendors. The course does not itself grant an eyelash extension license, and the business advises checking state licensing rules. All trainings are performed by a licensed cosmetologist.

Each style is matched to how many extensions a client wants, from one extension per natural lash to dense fans, and refills are scheduled by how many extensions remain.
